Saga Prefecture General Sports Ground Athletics Stadium
The stadium is surrounded by many sports facilities, including natural grass soccer grounds, a running course paved with rubber chips, an indoor pool and auxiliary fields.
Athletics Stadium
– JAAF Class 1-certified, all-weather paved track: 400 m x 8 lanes
– 1 natural grass football/rugby ground
* This natural grass ground meets the J-League standard.
– With a training room, meeting rooms, locker rooms (coin lockers: 454 for men; 326 for women), shower rooms (7 each for men and women), night floodlighting facilities, etc. The spectator stand accommodates 17,000 people.
1st auxiliary field
– All-weather track: 400 m x 6 lanes
– Straight track: 120 m x 4 lanes
– 1 natural grass football/rugby ground
– With pits for shot-put and jump
Football/Rugby Fields
– 2 artificial grass football/rugby fields
Running course
– One lap is approximately 1,500 m (paved with rubber chips)
Swimming pools
– Indoor pool: 25 m x 8 lanes (Each lane is 2.5 m wide.)
– Outdoor pool: 50 m x 8 lanes (Each lane is 2.3 m wide.)
– Outdoor diving pool (with a depth of 5 m)
* High diving platforms: at 10 m, 7.5 m and 5 m
* Springboard diving platforms: at 3 m and 1 m
